Support and signposting
Mental health support
Clear information, responsible signposting and a supportive first conversation when things feel difficult.

A supportive first step
Mental Health First Aid training helps people recognise signs of distress, listen without judgement and encourage appropriate professional support.
It does not replace a GP, mental-health professional or emergency service. MyHoyland can provide a calm point of contact and help identify suitable services.
Urgent danger
Call 999 or attend A&E when there is an immediate risk to life or safety.
Urgent health advice
Use NHS 111 for urgent medical guidance when the situation is not immediately life-threatening.
Ongoing support
Contact your GP or an appropriate local support service for assessment and ongoing care.
You do not have to work it out alone
Contact the MyHoyland team for responsible local signposting.
